Client Brief
The client requested that this small angular garden had a patio area large enough to entertain guests and for the children to play in. There was also a request for an outdoor kitchen space for barbecues, large swaths of planting and a path to reach the garden lodge being built by the client.
Overview
The patio and path were created using hand cut quarry tiles laid at a 45-degree angle to the house. The pattern flows right through the patio and along the pathways.
The garden is almost a 50/50 mix of hard landscaping and planting which helps make the garden feel bigger and increases the biodiversity of this urban site.
Also included in this project is a 13-point remotely switched lighting system and an automatic watering system.
