The brief
To create an entertaining space that can be used all year round surrounded by planting to help hard the harsh aesthetics of the surrounding new build houses and apartments.
What we did
The patio closest to the house was built using concrete paving reclaimed from site and interspersed with new cropped limestone pavers.
The upper terrace was built new from scratch using cropped limestone pavers and a central panel of Bert and May decorative printed tiles.
Raised planters were constructed to give a sense of privacy on the raised terrace, there is also a infinity edge water feature set with In the planting bed next to the raised seating area.
A retractable roof pergola was installed to give shade and protection from rain.

The result –
A relaxing and green entertain space with multiple areas for sitting and entertaining. With the harsh lines of the new build estate broken up using a mixed planting scheme.
